Digital Survey Plans for NSW

The efforts to transition to a fully digital land titles system in NSW continue and many of your will have seen the recent announcement regarding the cancellation of paper Certificates of Title and final mandates for achieving 100% eConveyancing coming into effect on 11 October 2021.

The digital plan reform is also progressing well with the release of a discussion paper to facilitate further consultation on the reform in more detail.  Following a six-week consultation period, the NSW Government will review all submissions and consider the required legislative changes to transition to 100% digital survey plans.

Your feedback is needed!

A discussion paper has been released on the NSW Government 'Have Your Say' website, outlining proposed changes required to transition from paper to digital survey plans in NSW.

ACS NSW will be making a submission, so please feel free to provide feedback directly to Penny at policy@acsnsw.com.au

The Surveyor Wins Best Business Magazine

Proving print’s alive and thriving in business-to-business (B2B) publishing, The Surveyor, published by the Association of Consulting Surveyors, has recorded a stunning victory by winning top honours in the Best Single Issue category in the 2020 Tabbie Awards—a prestigious worldwide competition for publishers of business, trade and custom magazines.

The entire magazine is clean and easy to read. The style and tone fit the industry and are cohesive throughout. There is no wasted space, yet the issue is not cluttered,” the judging panel wrote in its comments about The Surveyor.

Published for the Association of Consulting Surveyors by Brisbane-based publishing house TMPC, The Surveyor is a cutting-edge business title that profiles the incredibly important work of surveyors in Australia.

The outstanding success The Surveyor has achieved highlights the importance of the tactile feel and nature of receiving something in the post or a hard copy to read over coffee and share with colleagues and friends. It allows us to highlight the achievements of our members, the professionals, their practices and their projects.

Complete results, along with selected comments from the judges and samples of the winning entries, are available at www.tabpi.org
